A neighborly dispute over dog poop turned deadly in the Tacony section of Philadelphia.
It happened just after 4 p.m. Tuesday on the 6500 block of Torresdale Avenue. Tyrirk Harris, 27, is accused of killing his 47-year-old neighbor Franklin Manuel Santana, according to Philadelphia Police.
Cops say Santana walked a couple doors down Torresdale to confront Harris over his dogs.
"A German Shepherd and a Chihuahua -- these dogs were running free," said Philadelphia Police Chief Inspector Scott Small. "There were dog feces on several of the neighbor's yards. That's what led to this particular confrontation."
Police say Harris then pulled out a 9-mm handgun and shot his neighbor several times, striking Santana twice in the neck.

So a man allegedly killed his neighbor because he let dog poop get the better of him. Seems ridiculous doesn't it? But you'd be surprised what a minor irritant can turn into, when you feel your complaints are being ignored. Now a man is dead.

Sad.

I've been there. Condescending and inconsiderate neighbor let his dog poop on all of the neighbors' lawns with no regard. Wouldn't listen to reason. Cops were no help. Drama finally ended when the dog caught a car he was chasing

Good. Irresponsible and lazy dog owner deserved it.

Actually, it was the neighbor whose yard was pooped in that caught the bullets.

Oh my gosh Holly, I got that completely backwards. So now it's doubly offensive. The dog owner shot and killed the man whose lawn they were pooping on.

    Disgusting.
